How to count folder and items in SharePoint online, 2013, 2016 and 2019 documents library
We can use Folder Child Count and Item Child Count functions for it (Note this function will on folder label hierarchy, not in sub-folder ).
In this article, we will show how to apply both functions on documents library
For this, you need to flow blow approach
1. Click in Views list and select âEdit current viewâ
2. Add âFolder Child Countâ and âItem Child Countâ Column using the checkbox in this view then click on âOKâ button
3. Now âFolder Child Countâ and âItem Child Countâ function is shown on this view
4. Subfolder and 4 items under Organization C and Folder âOrganization Bâ is Empty
