Hourly rate: I saw that TimeCard can record rates for each task. Do users have to enter information for this field?
The rates don’t show in the appointments and don’t have to be filled out there.
In the Workgroup editions, the rates are often set in the TimeCardGlobal settings by the administrator and in that case the users don’t even see them.
However, the administrator can set the rate to be specified by each user, and in that case there will be an additional field for that in the Personal Settings, General Settings screen.
In the Single edition, the user sets the rates in the TimeCard settings.
